At our Czech Republic training centre, we have been teaching Close Protection and bodyguard training courses with the additional advantage of our firearms courses. These courses are at various levels including, Basic, Advanced, and Tactical. Our firearms training courses supplements the close protection officers’ role for those who may work outside of the United Kingdom.

 

Mission Training has the relevant accreditation that meets the standards set by the Security Industry Authority (SIA) to deliver our Close Protection course in the UK. This enables us to share our expertise with our trainees, whilst promoting further safety training. Close protection fits into our menu of courses.

 

Mission training is highly regarded for delivering security courses including; Conflict management. Safety training. First aid and fire training. Door supervision. Retail security. The level 3 Close protection course is a demanding course with high standards. Training will encompass all elements of close protection with emphasis on practical application of tactics and procedures. Training scenarios are filmed to highlight specific areas of development and used constructively to support the trainee. Instructors are on hand to give guidance at all times.

 

During the course we will identify the threat and risk factors associated with the role of a protection operative, highlight dangers and direct our trainees towards the constant need to assess the situation in an operational sphere. The training is strict, demanding yet rewarding. Teamwork is of paramount importance and trainees are expected to support others. The instructors will encourage individuals throughout the course offering invaluable experience for the benefit of the trainee.

 

Our training centre and head office is based in Canterbury, Kent. However we can deliver our training at other locations.

Our UK course is delivered by ex police protection officers with years of experience in the high-risk world of close protection. Sharing their expertise, which includes the protection of members of the Royal family, senior government ministers, Heads of State and others affording protection.

 

Tony Smith, managing director of Mission Training will also be instructing on the course sharing his extensive knowledge gained in the protection of celebrities. These include persons from the music industry, sporting icons, actors and Hollywood ‘A’ list celebrities.
