Our defensive driving training courses are designed to increase awareness and safety, and evasive action skills.

 

Our courses are aimed at experienced drivers who face a level of threat from either moving vehicles, or potential ambush situations, and are delivered by former police and military instructors.

 

Trainees attend our driving courses from all walks of life, including regular drivers looking to gain more experience (i.e. adverse weather conditions), chauffeurs, security personnel escorting high value goods, and close protection officers.

 

For some individuals working in the close protection industry the fear of kidnap is very real. Our training includes preparing for kidnap situations, carjacking, and street assault. Our trainees are given full instruction on how to maintain their own personal safety and of those in the vehicle with the available options of maintaining vehicle motion, driving around, or through the attack.

 

Close Protection Driver Training

THIS COURSE DOES NOT INCLUDE ANTI AMBUSH MANOEUVRES, BUT IS DESIGNED TO BE AN INTRODUCTION TO THE FULL ANTI AMBUSH COURSE. It includes Pickups, Drop offs, Embus, Debus and a demonstration drive by a suitably trained Protection Driver in evasive driving techniques as well as observational skills.

 

Anti Ambush (Protection and Evasive Driving)

Covering all techniques from fast reversing to ‘J’ turns, ‘Y’ turns, Precision Immobilisation Technique (PIT manoeuvre), Static Manoeuvre Emergency Exercise (SMEE) to full road block evasion and breakthroughs. This course is designed to give the driver the full package as an Anti Ambush trained Close Protection Driver and can only be undertaken after completing the Close Protection Course or equivalent. It is a very demanding course and should not be undertaken if you have any back, neck or heart problems.

 

One Day Professional Driving Appraisal

Run by professionally accredited driver trainers. It is your opportunity to gain valuable driving instruction. It is designed for the professional driver (Chauffeurs, Close Protection Officers, or just to improve your skills). Concentrating on Roadcraft and the System of Car Control, you will be surprised at the level of driving that you can achieve.

 

On Road Vehicle Dynamics Appraisal

Do you understand the handling characteristics or operating systems of your 4x4 vehicle or premium saloon? You do not need to drive Off Road to fully understand and appreciate the potential of your 4x4 vehicle or be a rocket scientist to know how the “drivers aids” work in your vehicle. Designed for the professional driver, but also a handy course for any discerning driver.
